The door is never as big as the room it leads into - Strengthening children in their identities and encountering diversities

Dalvir Gill
2006

Keynote for an international conference in Berlin/ Germany in June 2006 by Kinderwelten, NGO for Anti-Bias Education in Germany.

Dalvir Gill emphasizes why it is critically important for fostering empathy, reducing prejudice, and preparing children for life in an increasingly interconnected world. Why is this still relevant? Our society is increasingly diverse, so it remains essential to prepare young children for a global society. Helping them to learn about different perspectives, and lifestyles, which equips children to navigate a multicultural world with openness and respect.
